About

Jocelyn Morgan is a professional Yoga instructor. She undertook her 3 year certification journey through the YOGA ASSOCIATION of ALBERTA, completed in the fall of 2003. Since her initial certification Jocelyn has successfully completed 4 re~certifications with the Yoga Association of Alberta.  This requirement requires Jocelyn to participate in 150 hours of Hatha Yoga classes & workshops every 3 years.  Ensuring that Jocelyn is an active developing teacher, she is always looking for inspiration that she can bring and share with her students. She is blessed to have a beautiful private studio in Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada.

Jocelyn’s relationship with yoga has been evolving over the past 15 years, the result of a deepening sense of self and exposure to renowned Yogis and Yoginis such as Beth McCann, Geeta Iyangar, Baron Baptiste, Richard Miller, Nikki Doane, Eddie Modestini, Robin Golt, Friedel Khattab and Aadil Palkhivala. She is continually inspired by the simplicity and relevance of the yoga path.

In her class she takes the Hatha Yoga Poses (Asanas) and brings them into a creative flowing practice. The result is a peaceful, invigorating, calming, fun and always challenging experience. Ever mindful of the individual journeys of her students, Jocelyn is creative in the way she varies her sequences of poses (Asanas), integrating breath (Pranayama) with movement bringing her students to awareness of the present.

Jocelyn’s intention with her teaching is to empower her students by encouraging them to experience full self-acceptance, outer strength and inner calm. Her unique style supports her students as they learn to trust their intuition and fully embrace their lives, no matter where they are emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually.
